Sarah  is a freshman undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma. She is majoring in biology and is particularly interested in genetics. Other past-times include playing the cello and Dungeons & Dragons.

Future plans include attending graduate school and a career in research. Sarah first realized her passion for biology in high school and took an elective course that introduced her to DNA technologies like PCR, which have fascinated her ever since. Sarah joined the lab as part of the Honors FYRE (First Year Research Experience) program. She is incredibly excited to learn new things from her time in the Siler Lab.
